Home care expenses depend on the level of support needed. At OASIS, we focus on making pricing clear and straightforward, so there are no hidden fees or unexpected costs. A free consultation with our team allows us to assess your needs, create a personalised care plan, and provide a transparent budget breakdown.

Keeping home care costs manageable is a priority for us. By streamlining administrative processes and reducing unnecessary expenses, we can offer high-quality services at a lower price. Instead of inflating costs with overhead, we prioritise delivering excellent care while ensuring our clients get the best value.

We believe in flexibility, allowing clients to modify or cancel services at any time without penalties or exit fees. While Australian regulations require a service agreement, this document simply outlines the details of your care plan—you remain in complete control of your choices.

Unlike some providers, OASIS does not charge a daily basic fee.

To maintain a fair and sustainable system, the Australian Government assesses income-tested fees (ITFs) based on an individual’s financial situation. These fees, which have annual and lifetime caps, contribute directly to your care. Since ITFs are set by the government, home care providers like OASIS only collect them on behalf of Services Australia.

Once a Home Care Package is approved, Services Australia conducts a means-tested assessment using your income and asset details. If a fee applies, both you and your provider will receive a notification, and in most cases, the charge is backdated to the package approval date. This process typically takes between 6-12 weeks.

For added convenience, we offer multiple payment options, including weekly, fortnightly, or monthly direct debit. If a back payment is necessary, we work with you to arrange a payment method that suits your financial situation, whether through a lump sum or instalments.

Keeping CHSP support may be possible depending on the provider. Some clients who transition to a Home Care Package may continue receiving CHSP-funded social support services for ongoing continuity.:

All Home Care Packages require an approved provider to manage funds and ensure compliance with government regulations. The key difference between self-managed and fully managed care lies in how responsibilities are divided:

• Fully Managed Care: All aspects of home care are taken care of, including budgeting, scheduling, staff recruitment, training, and care management. If needs change, adjustments are made accordingly.

• Self-Managed Care: Clients take on the responsibility of hiring and managing carers, ensuring compliance, handling invoices, and coordinating care. While this option offers greater independence, it also requires more time and effort.
